Bull-Dog Vegetable & Fruit Tonkatsu Sauce is a a famous and totally delicious Japanese Tonkatsu sauce. Tonkatsu sauce is Japan’s answer to barbecue sauce, and Bull-Dog is one of the most popular bottled brands. The sweet, tangy fruit-and-vegetable-based condiment is most commonly used as an accompaniment to the crumbed, deep-fried pork cutlet dish known as tonkatsu, but works just as nicely as a dipping sauce for meats, or as an alternative to tomato sauce on burgers.
This is a sauce with sweetness and viscosity that gets its rich flavour and umami from vegetables and fruits. While it of course matches with Tonkatsu, this sauce can also be used with Okonomiyaki, and other pan fried dishes.
Bull-Dog Sauce has a history spanning over 100 years and is considered one of Japan’s representative condiments. Adding spiciness and mildness to the umami of vegetables and fruits, this multi-purpose sauce can be drizzled on fried foods or used as a secret ingredient in dishes like stew.

Water, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, distilled vinegar (made from alcohol), tomato paste, salt, modified rice starch, apple puree, yeast extract (contains soy), spices, prune paste, carrots, onions, lemon juice.

Kimchi is a fermented condiment that originates from South Korea and can be likened to a German Sauerkraut, a South African Chakalaka or Indian Atchar. It is 100% naturally fermented and therefore contains zero refined sugar or vinegar and is teeming with billions of Gut Friendly Bacteria & Probiotics per tablespoon.
