Bone Broth Potjie

Nothing says South African gathering like a potjie simmering over coals. We’ve made it even more nourishing by swapping stock for Che Gourmet Bone Broth — rich, gut-friendly, and full of flavour.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1kg beef stew cuts

  • 2 onions, chopped

  • 2 carrots + 2 potatoes

  • 1 cup green beans

  • 2 cups Che Gourmet Bone Broth

  • 1 cup red wine (optional)

  • Herbs, salt & pepper

Method in a Nutshell:

  1. Brown meat & onions in potjie.

  2. Add veg, broth & wine.

  3. Let it simmer low & slow until tender (2–3 hours).
