Join us for our next HANDS ON Fermentation Event hosted by Fermentation Expert Che from Che Gourmet. This event is the next in our series of Gut Health & Fermentation Foodie Focus. Che will be going into great detail regarding starters, techniques, equipment, ingredients & fermentation time. Che will be focusing on how to make Kimchi, Kraut & Whole Brined Fermented Foods.

The biggest & most exciting part of this event? YOU will be creating your very own Hand Crafted, One of a Kind Ferments to take home with you in our Che Gourmet 1KG Fermentation Stations (WORTH OVER R600) !!! We will have an array of organic veggies, herbs & spices so you can customise your ferment to your liking. This will allow for a safe Anaerobic Fermentation to take place at home especially for first timers and also create a flavour profile to suit you.

Che will be on hand to assist with every step in the process to ensure you understand fully the techniques & skills needed to ferment safely on the day & while at home.

Additional Fermentation Stations will be available for purchase on the day.

The Authentic Fermented Korean Condiment

Kimchi is a fermented condiment that originates from South Korea and can be likened to a German Sauerkraut, a South African Chakalaka or Indian Atchar. It is 100% naturally fermented and therefore contains zero refined sugar or vinegar and is teeming with billions of Gut Friendly Bacteria & Probiotics per tablespoon.

It has typical Asian flavours of Ginger, Garlic & Chillis which amplify the flavour of this product & bring you a condiment that is not only delicious but essential to the maintenance of good gut health. Our Kimchi is also 100% vegan which is the more ancient traditional version from the Buddhist monks who are still a huge part of Korean culture today.

This product requires special packaging in order to maintain cold temperature & therefore is only available via courier services.
